a writer is (re)born

today marks the inaugural day of my attempt to be a better keeper of records. where once i was an avid writer, i have reached a point in my life where if i have the energy to verbally correspond in full sentences with my husband at the close of a day, i feel accomplished in this fete. i make this vow to myself, my child(ren) and my spouse, in hopes that our precious minutes will not simply turn into hours, days, weeks, months and years undocumented. it is today that i will attempt to write history, or rewrite it, however i see fit, based on my needs and interpretations of life's offerings. i give this gift of words to myself and to you, the reader of words, perhaps one in the same......
